YouTube

HYGO Shop publishes to YouTube via the YouTube Data API. The integration is routed through Ayrshare — a publisher API that handles OAuth, daily quota limits, and YouTube's per-account upload caps.

What you can post​

  • YouTube Shorts (vertical short-form video — under 60 seconds).
  • Standard YouTube videos (16:9 horizontal).
  • Video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.

What HYGO Shop generates for you​

  • Vertical Shorts composed from your product photos.
  • Horizontal videos using product images + on-screen text + voiceover.
  • Titles, descriptions, and tag suggestions in your brand voice.
  • Thumbnail images optimized for click-through.

Account requirements​

  • A YouTube channel (a regular YouTube account, not Brand Account-only).
  • About 5 minutes to authorize HYGO Shop.

Setup​

  1. From the HYGO Shop dashboard, click Connect YouTube.
  2. Sign in to Google with the account that owns your YouTube channel.
  3. Approve the requested permissions.

Permissions requested​

  • youtube.readonly — read your channel and videos.
  • youtube.upload — upload videos you approve.

HYGO Shop does not request access to Subscribers' private data, monetization controls, or YouTube Studio admin scope.

Compliance + content rules​

Descriptions are scanned for YouTube's commonly-flagged phrases (regulated medical terminology, copyrighted-music references, restricted product mentions) before publishing. You'll be warned before posting anything that could trip Content ID or strike your channel.

Disconnect​

Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → HYGO Shop → Remove access. Or, from the HYGO Shop dashboard → Connections → YouTube → Disconnect.
