BigCommerce

HYGO Shop connects to BigCommerce stores via the BigCommerce App Store. Once installed, HYGO Shop reads products, customers, and orders, and writes back AI-improved product copy you've approved.

What gets imported​

  • Products (titles, descriptions, variants, images, prices, inventory).
  • Customers (for cart recovery + reorder reminders).
  • Orders (for reorder cadence prediction).

What gets written back​

Only changes you explicitly approve:

  • Updated product titles + descriptions.
  • Updated short descriptions / SEO fields.
  • New product images.

Setup​

  1. From the BigCommerce App Marketplace, install HYGO Shop.
  2. Approve the requested scopes.
  3. Sign in with your HYGO Shop account (or create one during install).
  4. Initial sync starts automatically.

Permissions​

HYGO Shop requests these BigCommerce scopes:

  • store_v2_products (read + write)
  • store_v2_customers (read)
  • store_v2_orders (read)
  • store_v2_information (read — for store metadata)

No payment scopes. No store_v2_default write.

Disconnect​

BigCommerce admin → Apps → My Apps → HYGO Shop → Uninstall. HYGO Shop's uninstall webhook fires immediately; tenant data is purged within 30 days.
