TikTok

HYGO Shop publishes to TikTok via TikTok for Business publishing APIs. The integration is routed through Ayrshare — a publisher API that abstracts away TikTok's per-region quirks and approval cadence.

What you can post​

  • Vertical short-form videos (Reels-style — TikTok's native format).
  • Photo-style multi-image posts.
  • Captions + hashtags + sounds (where supported by TikTok's API on your account tier).

What HYGO Shop generates for you​

  • Vertical video composed from your product photos (with on-screen text + voiceover).
  • Captions in your brand voice.
  • Hashtag recommendations based on your product category.

Account requirements​

  • A TikTok Business account. Switch a personal account to Business in TikTok Settings → Manage Account → Switch to Business Account. It's free.
  • About 5 minutes to authorize HYGO Shop in TikTok.

Setup​

  1. From the HYGO Shop dashboard, click Connect TikTok.
  2. Sign in to TikTok at the standard sign-in page.
  3. Approve the requested permissions.

Permissions requested​

  • user.info.basic — read your account profile.
  • video.publish — publish videos you approve.
  • video.list — pull engagement back to your dashboard.

HYGO Shop does not request DM access, advertising scope, or the ability to read followers' private data.

Compliance + content rules​

Captions are scanned against TikTok's commonly-rejected phrase set (medical claims, "guaranteed", regulated-product terminology) before publishing. You'll be warned before posting anything that risks blocking your account.

Disconnect​

TikTok Settings → Privacy → Connected Apps → HYGO Shop → Disconnect. Or, from the HYGO Shop dashboard → Connections → TikTok → Disconnect.
