Amazon
HYGO Shop integrates with Amazon Seller Central via Amazon's Selling Partner API. The connection requires an Amazon seller account in Professional tier and Seller Central admin access for the initial authorization.
What gets imported
- Listings (your active and inactive ASINs, titles, descriptions, bullets, images, prices).
- Orders (for reorder cadence and lifetime-value modeling).
- Inventory levels (read-only by default).
What gets written back
Only changes you explicitly approve:
- Listing titles + descriptions.
- Bullet points.
- Backend search terms (when you enable AI-suggested keyword optimization).
- Listing images (when you generate them in HYGO Shop and approve them).
HYGO Shop never modifies a live Amazon listing without an explicit approval click. We do not handle FBA shipments, advertising spend, or repricing.
Roles + access
HYGO Shop is registered as a Selling Partner Application. It requests these SP-API roles:
- Product Listing
- Inventory and Order Tracking
- Brand Analytics (only if your seller account is Brand Registry-enrolled)
For categories Amazon classifies as Restricted Data (PII in orders), HYGO Shop uses tokenized PII access via SP-API's Restricted Data Token (RDT) flow. Customer addresses are never stored — they're fetched on-demand and discarded after each request.
Setup
- From the HYGO Shop dashboard, click Connect Amazon.
- Sign in to Seller Central as the account admin.
- Approve the application authorization.
- Initial sync runs in the background.
Disconnect
Seller Central → Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps → HYGO Shop → Revoke Authorization. Tenant data is purged within 30 days.
See Data handling for retention specifics.
